This page explains what role a Contributor plays in the Ikasan EIP project.

How to become a Contributor

After following the steps in the Welcome Letter a community member becomes a Contributor when they submit a patch or perform some other helpful service for their project (such as updating the wiki).

SVN Acccess

Contributors do not have SVN access they must submit patches, see Submitting a Patch.

Voting rights

Contributors do not have voting rights, but their opinions are highly valued, more often than not the community will not vote positively unless the Contributors are also in favour.
